After the design is finalized, we handle every step of the installation process from site preparation to sourcing high-quality native plants and planting. With clear communication every step of the way, we ensure your natural garden is installed with precision and care.

Maintenance

Natural gardens are lower maintenance but still need care. To safeguard the long-term success of your investment, we offer regular garden maintenance services. This includes tasks such as weeding, filling in gaps, and spring cut-downs, all performed with an approach that balances aesthetics with ecological value.

How It Works

Contact us to get the process started
We will set up consultation visit for $120. This fee gets used as a credit towards your project.
We will deliver an estimate for work discussed.
Once you are happy to proceed, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure a design contract.
We keep you involved during the whole design process. You get multiple chances to review the design from plant selection to layout of the beds.
Upon completion of the design, our crew can come in to install the garden

All gardens require some level of maintenance. Our gardens are designed to reduce maintenance over by planting in dense layers of plants (sometimes known as “matrix gardening”). The first 1-2 years of a gardens establishment always require the most amount of weeding and watering. Once the garden is established, it will no longer require watering, and weeding will be significantly reduced.
No — natural gardens are intentionally designed to balance aesthetics with ecology. Through thoughtful plant selection and layout, we create gardens that look full, balanced, and beautiful throughout the seasons while still supporting biodiversity.

Design timelines vary depending on project scope and time of year, but most designs take 2-4 weeks from consultation to where we are ready to install. Installation timing depends on size and season and is scheduled to support plant health and long-term success.
Typical designs use around 90% native species or more. We prioritize native plants whenever possible and may also include well-adapted, non-invasive or near-native species when they support resilience, function, and design goals. We never use invasive species under any circumstance.
Costs vary based on size, complexity, and site conditions. We’ll discuss your goals and provide clear guidance on scope and budget before moving forward. Our goal is to make natural gardens available to every budget so we will work to find a plan that suits your needs.
Yes. We design natural gardens for spaces of all sizes, including small yards and urban properties. Even compact gardens can support biodiversity and provide seasonal beauty. We also work with larger estate gardens.
Yes. We offer maintenance and stewardship services to support your garden as it matures, helping it become healthier and more self-sustaining over time. All garden installations come with a complimentary 1-year follow up visit to ensure your gardens success.
